    Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, customer-obsessed Data Center Security Manager to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Infrastructure Operations team across the Frankfurt Cluster.
    As a Data Center Security Manager, you will be tasked with running day-to-day data center security operations, supporting and executing security projects and programs, as well as assuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities include:

    - Direct and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations.
    - Handle site security incidents, escalations or any other security related issues.
    - Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large scale event response when needed.
    - Participate in re-occurring data center security audits and reviews.
    - Executes established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
    - Provides input on, and may develop security methodologies, policies and procedures.
    - Write reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
    - Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
    - Manage the security P&L for assigned site(s), assist management with financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.
    - Collaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information and assets.

As the Regional Safety Engineer you will own the Health and Safety function of your respective area. Each day you will work with our data center engineers, the people who make the cloud go. They are working with electrical switching equipment, large scale air handling mechanical systems, and critical IT gear.

    You will work closely with experts in security, construction, operations, logistics, compliance, corporate counsel, and human resources to further the global health safety program. You will partner with employees as well as contractors to achieve health and safety goals and improve our already strong safety culture. As AWS increases data capacity you will partner with construction managers to ensure risks are identified and mitigated prior to live operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where our operations are rapidly changing, advocating safe changes in the face of new infrastructure, new tools, and new products/processes.

    This role is for an experienced Safety Specialist or Safety Engineer. The role's prime responsibility will be to support the safety operations for Data Centers.
    You will be part of a regional and global team that works with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the safety of operations. Close collaboration with onsite physical security, vendors, compliance officers, risk management, and fire/life safety systems is required. Additionally, you will work with employees and contractors to achieve specific safety objectives.

    You must be an effective communicator, sending clear, concise and consistent messages verbally, in written form, and/or public speaking forums. You will advise, instruct and train company personnel on safety policies and procedures, as well as assist the teams in incorporating and improving our safety standards at their sites.

    You will report to the Regional Safety Manager – EURI and be responsible for continuing to enhance the safety of operations and construction. Some domestic and international travel is required.

    Key job responsibilities
    •Implement safety standards, policies and best practices.
    •Provision and Management of Training: Induction, Refresher and Manual Handling Training as required, develop and deliver training/presentations to support achievement of H&S objectives. Manage the training database for all employees and ensure all H&S training requirements are fulfilled.
