Job Description:
As an R&D Engineer (m/f/d) Software Development (Java), you develop software in a self organized, agile Scrum team for our V93000 SoC test platform.
The team is responsible for the definition, development, implementation, and testing of new solutions in the area of test flow execution using Java.
You design, implement, and maintain highly optimized, multithreaded Java code, leveraging state of the art algorithms and modern development environments on Linux workstations. Performance, stability, and code quality are critical to our success.
You analyze, plan, and coordinate development, design, and test activities in close collaboration with your team members as well as with other development teams.
You build a solid understanding of relevant customer applications and use cases, as well as a sufficient understanding of the underlying V93000 ATE hardware.
Your Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience in software development of technical systems
Solid understanding of software design concepts and methodologies
Practical experience in object oriented analysis and design, design patterns, and test automation
Strong analytical mindset, data driven problem analysis, and problem solving skills

Supplier Data Manager (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
Supplier Data Specification Governance: Define, document, and maintain the standardized Supplier Data Specification (data catalogue), including data definitions, acceptance criteria, frequency of exchange, and exception handling, ensuring alignment with Advantest's procurement and operational objectives.
Current-State Mapping and Gap Analysis: Lead the rapid assessment of existing supplier data flows, interfaces, and schemas to establish an «as-is» baseline, identify gaps against the defined specification, and drive a prioritized remediation plan.
Supplier Engagement and Data Stewardship: Establish and manage relationships with supplier data owners, implement alerting and escalation processes for data quality violations, and drive adherence to standards through governance forums and supplier scorecards.
Data Quality: Define and monitor data quality KPIs (completeness, timeliness, accuracy, conformance), integrate them into supplier performance scorecards, and act as the subject matter expert for implementing a Supplier Collaboration platform for supplier data exchange.
Your Qualifications
Senior Data Governance Expertise: Demonstrated experience (7-10 years) in defining, standardizing, and governing supplier-related data within procurement or supply chain environments. Proven ability to identify business-critical data requirements across the end-to-end supply chain, establish data standards and catalogues, and ensure consistent adoption across supplier networks .
Data Requirements Definition & Oversight in Supply Chain / Procurement: Strong understanding of data structures, exchange formats, and validation principles, with a focus on translating supply chain and procurement needs into clear, enforceable data requirements. Emphasis on defining what data is needed and why , while overseeing adherence rather than hands-on implementation of integrations or technical solutions
Supplier Engagement and Change Leadership: Exceptional ability to identify supplier data owners, negotiate data standards, and drive compliance through SLAs, scorecards, and governance forums, supported by strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Delivery Mindset and Analytical Capability: Ability to hit the ground running by executing discovery, gap analysis, and remediation, combined with expertise in defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using data-driven insights to prioritize improvements.

Global Commodity Engineer - Interconnection Technologies (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
The Global Interconnection Technology Engineer
is a key technical contributor within the Global Interconnect Commodity Team . The role works in close collaboration with local and global R&D organizations, Global Procurement, and strategic suppliers to jointly develop and execute interconnection technology and sourcing strategies for a highly complex product environment.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Drive the creation maintenance, and evolution of the global requirements matrix.
Support technical evaluation of supplier capabilities
Conduct technical deep dives on failure modes, reliability concerns and manufacturability issues.
Commodity & Supplier Strategy
Partner with Global Procurement to develop & support commodity strategies and initiatives derived for interconnect technologies.
Lead technical assessments, capability audits and qualification of new and existing suppliers.
Ensure R&D groups have the required support from strategic suppliers.
Cross - Functional Collaboration
Facilitate communication across global teams, including design reviews, supplier meetings, and procurement decision making.
Support R&D teams throughout the development cycle.
Understand the global mapping of relevant R&D teams and key engineers.
Quality and Compliance
Work with quality teams to define required inspection criteria, test methods and qualification plans.
Investigate root causes of interconnect-related issues and drive corrective actions with suppliers and design teams.
Support Scouting, Developing & Qualifying new suppliers as per the business and strategical needs.
