You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality installation engineering solutions that meet project and regulatory standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Managers, Site Managers, and Installation Supervisors), review civil interface drawings, and ensure deliverables meet project execution requirements, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing and executing installation engineering activities, such as drawings, documentation, and work method statements, but also support the field teams in reviewing deliverables and implementing necessary design modifications.
We’ll look for you to:

Manage the reliability and/or safety activities as well as related deliverables in accordance with quality, cost and delivery commitments on the project/program you are appointed to. Support the Alstom products performance by defining reliability requirements allowing to enhance their capability to meet the expected reliability targets. Coordinate the different RAMS contributors working on the program/project for the relevant scope. We are seeking a System Engineer specializing in Bogie systems for railway vehicles to join our system engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the system integration of bogies at the vehicle level, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements, and providing guidance from the tender phase through the development of the vehicle and its validation.
We’ll look for you to:
Work closely with specialists from different disciplines to ensure that transversal requirements are properly allocated to all bogie subsystems.
Develop bogie system requirements based on reference and applicable documents, including Standards, Certification, Safety, and customer specifications.
Define the performance, interfaces, operational modes, and functionalities of the bogie system.
Act as the primary technical interface with the Bogie Engineering team.

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning, project management, and organizational expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team of professionals.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Bogies Sub-system by developing and maintaining project schedules that meet our commitments for on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with international Project Core Teams across multiple sites, internal customers, suppliers, and various functions. You’ll analyze schedules, identify risks, and implare of building and maintaining the sub-system project schedule using our planning tools and templates, but also contribute to the Earned Value Management process and ensure alignment with industrial planning routines.
We’ll look to you for:
Contributing to the Project Time Management Plan defined by the Lead Unit Senior Project Planning Manager (PrPM).
Building and maintaining the project schedule for the Bogies sub-system based on the internal standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), contractual targets, and stakeholder inputs.
Ensuring consistency and alignment of commitments across internal and external stakeholders.
Analyzing schedules, identifying potential delays and critical paths, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
Organizing and leading periodic project schedule sessions for your area of responsibility.
Providing timely updates and schedule progress reports, highlighting variances and potential risks.
Supporting the sub-system manager on all issues related to the project schedule.
Contributing to the return of experience (REX) initiatives and sharing best practices to improve processes and templates.

Degree in engineering, business, or equivalent.
Experience or understanding of project scheduling, with a planning certification or project scheduler experience being an advantage.
Knowledge of scheduling tools and industrial planning routines.
Familiarity with earned value management and risk analysis.
A structured and process-oriented approach with strong multi-tasking and conflict management skills.
Excellent communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-site, and cross-functional team environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally and engage in continuous learning and development.
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken);
