Your next challenge: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to acquire new clients, while taking ownership of expanding relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Accountable for acquiring new clients and driving business growth in key target segments (Sweden, Denmark, Poland or the Nertherlands) and markets, including entrepreneurial clients in Europe. Core focus areas also include External Asset Managers, Family Offices, and Multi-Family Offices. Close collaboration with an expanding network of Business Partners and Business Introducers to enhance market reach and client engagement. Identify and address client needs and preferences, offering suitable products and services. Ensure the accurate execution of client instructions to maintain a high level of service quality. Stay updated on developments in financial markets and ensure the bank's investment strategy is faithfully executed. Your skills: Relevant degree of financial education and certifications. A background in Corporate banking/Corporate Finance, whether through education or practical experience, is considered an asset. Fluency in English is mandatory and in one of the following language : Danish, Swedish, Polish or Dutch Proven experience and expertise in Private Banking, Business development and relationship management. Your next challenge: Ensure the acquisition of new Mid-Corporate clients, with a particular emphasis on complex and potentially strategic clients that would benefit Corporate Banking as a whole, by: Building and maintaining an external network of clients and strategic partners to identify opportunities for BIL to present its product offerings to corporate clients. Delivering regular technical training for (Senior) Relationship Managers across all CB lines to empower them to discover growth areas and cross-selling opportunities with their clients. Collaborating with (Senior) Relationship Managers and other (Senior) Business Developers as part of a team, the individual will leverage their expertise to identify growth opportunities. They will take the lead in preparing proposals that offer coherent and innovative solutions for clients (such as Cash Management and Lending Solutions) and/or in collaboration with our expert teams (ie. Corporate Finance and DCM), while subsequently transferring the day-to-day management of the client relationship to the Relationship Manager. This role will focus on particularly complex, sensitive, or strategic projects for the bank. Ensure the promotion of the Corporate Banking Value Proposition and position oneself as a key player in its success while serving as the first line of defense. Provide all Corporate Banking teams with insights on the market, clients, and competitors, while also monitoring market trends related to solutions, products, and pricing. Serving as an ambassador for his/her area of expertise within Corporate Banking and the Bank, while sharing that knowledge with other teams. Representing the Bank at external events such as conferences, seminars, and training sessions. Attract new clients to the Corporate Banking portfolio and meet targeted goals for revenue, costs, deposits, and loan production, all while maintaining the first line of defense. Actively collaborate with (senior) Relationship Managers and take the initiative when growth opportunities arise within their portfolios. Develop innovative proposals that showcase the full spectrum of solutions available to corporate clients, positioning yourself as a partner capable of delivering a comprehensive and cohesive offering. Present solutions to clients and implement operational workflows once proposals are accepted, while transferring daily management of clients to (senior) Relationship Managers. Assist in the technical training of (senior) Relationship Managers in other lines to help them identify opportunities with their clients. Proactively position the Corporate Banking Value Proposition in close collaboration with other business development teams for existing clients, prospects, and a network of strategic partners for BIL. Adhere to all procedures and compliance requirements (KYC, AML, etc.) relevant to the Senior Business Development role, ensuring customer information is documented in the CRM. Serve as an external ambassador for the BIL Group at conferences, presentations and training sessions, while initiating and fostering a network of strategic partners for BIL, participating in discussion panels, media appearances etc). Play a key role in the development of products and services. Your skills: Master's degree or equivalent experience; Solid network of external contacts (clients, banks, professional experts). Fluent in French, English, German, and/or Luxembourgish. Expertise in (complex) financing and cash management. General knowledge of Corporate Finance and DCM, in order to ensure cross sell with the expert teams. Proven expertise in balance sheet analysis, financial ratios and business management. Knowledge of drafting contractual documents for the bank, particularly in the area of syndicated loans (ie. LMA standard). In-depth knowledge of all trading room services and products. Very good knowledge of the legal, tax and regulatory framework applying to the applicable market (LU), and of the domestic market in general. Excellent understanding of BIL's risk appetite in the context of sensitive and/or complex files. Excellent knowledge of the economic, regulatory and tax environment in Luxembourg.
