    Job Purpose:

    Implement Air Freight Systems & Digital Delivery plans, processes and activities to deliver accurate and effective functional outcomes in line with business needs and objectives, relevant strategies and standards, Group guidelines and policies, and applicable legal, regulatory and compliance requirements. This includes leading and orchestrating significant Air Freight solution delivery programs across domains, countries or regions, ensuring digital demand is sequenced, governed, adopted and measured against business value.


    Key Tasks:

    Provide input into Air Freight solution delivery strategy, digital roadmap and portfolio direction in line with Air Freight business objectives, GTOM standards and approved governance. Lead delivery of large, complex or multi-country projects and programs with clear scope, value case, dependency plan, adoption plan and risk control. Direct pipeline prioritization and ensure RUN / MATCH / LEAP classification is applied consistently to stability, competitive parity and differentiation initiatives. Coordinate across Solution Delivery, IT, Product, PE, CO/CT, GSC, Operations, Pricing, SCM & Gateways, OA and Implementation to ensure digital initiatives are executable and reusable. Identify fragmented or country-specific solution demand where a reusable regional or global capability would better support GTOM. Lead implementation of transformational change projects that improve the service portfolio, automation level, data quality, customer visibility, or operational control. Track project progress, adoption maturity, value realization and benefit delivery; highlight divergence from plan and trigger corrective action. Assess technical and business-process alternatives, recommend feasible approaches and ensure solutions do not undermine global standards or local execution accountability. Lead risk management, mitigation planning, dependency resolution and executive communication for strategic digital initiatives. Develop capability in managers, specialists and domain users on structured demand, UAT quality, adoption discipline and portfolio value thinking. Convince subject matter experts and key stakeholders including Air Freight Product, Strategy & Operational Excellence, Process Excellence, Customer Operations / Control Tower, Growth, Pricing, SCM & Gateways, Network & Charters, Operational Accounting and Implementation stakeholders; Regional and country Air Freight leadership, stations, GSC, Solution Delivery, IT / AD, Finance, HR; external vendors or system partners; and senior regional and global Air Freight leaders to accept new concepts, practices and approaches. Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers and relevant partner teams. May cooperate with approved third parties and provide technical guidance to line managers, employees, customers, and key stakeholders.

    Qualifications & Key Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification. Proven ability to independently lead and manage large, global cross‑functional initiatives. Comfortable operating in highly complex, cross‑functional environments and resolving ambiguity through structured, evidence‑based analysis. Strong track record of driving governance, adoption, and closure outcomes across multiple regions and countries. Skilled at influencing VP/SVP stakeholders across Product, Operations, Regions, GSC, Finance, and Digital/IT.     Job Purpose:

    As Manager Global Ocean Freight Risk Management & Compliance Reporting, Data & Automation, you will lead the transformation of global Ocean Freight compliance into a data-driven, AI-enabled, and highly automated operating model.

    This role goes beyond reporting and governance. You will design and operate a Compliance Intelligence ecosystem, leveraging data, automation, AI and digital agents to:

    Detect risks proactively using data and AI-supported insights Automate remediation and control workflows end-to-end Enable real-time transparency through intelligent dashboards Reduce manual effort through scalable automation and agent-based solutions

    You will act as a bridge between Compliance, Operations, and Technology, ensuring regulatory requirements (FMC / OSRA, DG, documentation, security etc.) are translated into smart, self-driving and measurable systems.


    Principal accountabilities:

    Global CAPA Governance

    Own and operate the global Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) framework across all Ocean Freight compliance domains as a digital and intelligent system Design AI-supported workflows and automation, including: CAPA creation based on findings and triggers Intelligent routing and prioritization (risk-based) AI-assisted validation and completeness checks Implement rule-based and AI-driven agents to: Monitor CAPA progress Flag delays, inconsistencies or missing evidence Drive “automation-first and AI-augmented” execution model

    Compliance Data, Analytics & AI Insights

    Build and maintain a global compliance data model Develop advanced analytics and AI-supported insights, including: Pattern detection (recurring root causes) Risk clustering across regions/countries Predictive indicators for potential compliance breaches Use tools such as: Power BI / data visualization platforms Data models / structured datasets Emerging AI capabilities where applicable

    Intelligent Reporting & Decision Support

    Define and maintain the global KPI framework, metrics, thresholds, and reporting standards. Shift from static reports to real-time, AI-enhanced dashboards Introduce: Automated commentary generation (AI-supported summaries of trends) Smart alerts for critical developments Enable self-service and AI-assisted reporting for stakeholders

    FMC / Regulatory Audit Readiness Reporting

    Maintain consolidated FMC / maritime compliance status across regions. Support BEIC audit readiness and internal mock audits with structured reporting. Ensure reporting is consistent, factual, and regulator defensible.

    Digital Validation & Control Effectiveness

    Introduce technology-supported validation mechanisms Use automation and AI support to: Cross-check evidence completeness Identify inconsistencies between findings and remediation Integrate validation into end-to-end digital workflow

    AI Agents & Continuous Improvement

    JOB PURPOSE 

    Develop and administer Air Freight Systems & Digital Delivery plans, processes, programs and activities to deliver effective and efficient functional outcomes in line with business needs and objectives, relevant strategies, frameworks and standards, Group guidelines and policies, and applicable legal, regulatory and compliance requirements. This includes managing Air Freight Systems & Digital Delivery activities within the assigned scope by converting business demand into governed solution delivery work, ensuring delivery within cost, time and quality expectations, and driving adoption of approved systems and capabilities. 

    KEY TASKS 

    Manage assigned Air Freight solution delivery pipeline, ensuring demand is captured through the approved front door and supported by business rationale, impact, requirements and evidence.  Lead planning and delivery of approved projects, enhancements, system fixes or adoption initiatives within scope, quality, timeline and budget expectations.  Apply RUN / MATCH / LEAP logic to support prioritization and ensure stability, competitive parity and innovation demand are not mixed without decision discipline.  Coordinate business requirements, UAT, training, readiness, release communication and post-go-live adoption with domains, GSC, Solution Delivery and IT.  Support approved systems such as CW1, QuoteShop, Sales360, myDHLi, FRP / Station Monitor, LifeTrack and CapTrack are supported through consistent business ownership and adoption logic.  Identify risks, dependencies, system gaps and adoption blockers early and escalate with impact, owner, due date and proposed decision path.  Challenge local tool creation, shadow reporting, duplicated demand routes and country-specific rebuild requests that undermine GTOM standardization.  Link system initiatives to AQI/SQI, productivity, customer promise, compliance, file quality, billing quality, cost-to-serve or strategic differentiation outcomes.  Execute effective project governance including decision logs, action tracking, readiness checks, defect management and value realization follow-up.  Instruct specialists and business users on digital governance, structured requirements, UAT discipline and adoption expectations.

    Job purpose 

    Drive end‑to‑end customer implementations for DHL’s OMS solutions—ensuring operational readiness, on‑time and in‑scope delivery, robust stakeholder engagement, and sustained performance post‑go‑live.     Principal accountabilities

    Implementation & Project Delivery

    Champion adoption of OMS and DePICT project/implementation practices; contribute tools/templates that increase delivery velocity and consistency.   Apply formal evaluation techniques (e.g., time‑motion studies, process mapping) to streamline processes; capture and share lessons learned across geographies.  Identify, initiate, and track CI opportunities post‑go‑live/during hyper-care to enhance service levels and optimize cost‑to‑serve.

    Key Responsibilities

    Contribute to the development of the global standard for assigned topics by: Continuously analyzing existing processes, workflows, trainings, KPI, GSC services, solutions, systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collecting requirements / feedback / best practices from the countries with regards to the above, and providing those to the global process excellence and solutions delivery teams Supporting the global requirement prioritization process.
