Your tasks
Further development and operation of database systems at Forschungszentrum Jülich
Project-related development of software systems in agile teams
Conception of new applications and workflows and their implementation
Close collaboration with the developers at RWTH Aachen University and the other Helmholtz centers
Planning, setting up and managing Windows and Linux systems, communication systems and software
Your profile
Completed scientific university degree (Master's degree) in computer science or mathematics or comparable qualification
Experience in back-end and front-end development (full-stack web development)
Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, , C#
Interest in virtualization solutions with containers is an advantage
Practical experience in software development projects, preferably in an open source environment
Ability to work cooperatively
Good command of written and spoken English

The position is initially limited to two years with the possibility of a longer-term perspective. Remuneration and social benefits depend on the qualifications and, depending on the tasks assigned, on the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD-Bund).
