Lead the technical development of project specific HV AC transmission solutions for Offshore Wind customers globally, especially the electrical transmission package for offshore platformsAssist the global sales team with presales support and actively promote and differentiate the solution against competitionPerform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needsLead and develop Base Solutions for Offshore Wind together with Product Management, R&D and other Business Units based on the market requirements and respective customer interactionsDrive evaluation of potential new and existing technologies and coordinate, together with Product Management, the introduction of new technology / systems in the marketsShare industry and product knowledge with the sales and operational teams to enhance pre-sales skillsDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with key players in the allocated market – e.g. End Customers, EPCs, Local Sales teamsGather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategiesSupport as an application engineer technically the Tender and Execution Teams for HV AC Offshore Wind Projects
A bachelor degree or higher in Electrical or Industrial Engineering combined with experience in the Offshore Wind segment or at least in electrical HV AC Substation business would be preferredUnderstanding of Power Grids, phases of go-to-market and its way of distribution with a focus on mission-critical applications preferredMind for identifying new business opportunities, great intercultural skills combined with a diplomatic way of negotiating and closing business dealsFluency in English is mandatory, German and other languages would be considered as advantageWillingness to travel as part of business assignments (~ 10–20 %)Flexibility and interest in working within an international team
