Your responsibilities
Represent the Security organization in internal and external committees, ensuring alignment with overall security objectives Lead overarching projects in coordination with the Security Officer, focusing on standardization, digitalization, and improvement of security processes Monitor, analyze, and report security metrics and incidents to the Security Officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive security concepts for all office and site locations, taking into account NIS2 and KRITIS requirements Continuously identify physical security vulnerabilities and define, implement, and monitor appropriate safeguard measures Conduct regular audits at sites to evaluate both physical and digital security measures and ensure processes are effectively followed Serve as the main point of contact for advisory support across all areas of physical security, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of security measures Perform all ISMS-related tasks within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with information security standards Act as the contact person for questions regarding information security in the assigned area, while considering related physical security aspects Prepare and actively participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security processes Assess and ensure compliance of security measures for IT systems and building technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems Support sites in emergency management readiness by planning, preparing, and conducting regular tests and exercises to maintain operational preparednessYour profile
University degree in information technology, security technology, or a comparable field Relevant professional experience with a focus on security technology and risk management, including areas such as security services, physical security, loss prevention, investigations, supply chain, auditing, or compliance Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience with security systems, including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security incident management Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) Familiarity with regulatory requirements for utilities and critical infrastructure Excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience in cross-departmental collaboration Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments ISO 27001 Foundation or Practitioner certification is desirable Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are advantageous Emergency management training or certification is a plus to support preparedness and testing at sites Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, enabling clear communication of security requirements and processes Valid Class B driving license and willingness to travel to site locations as requiredYour benefits

Your responsibilities
During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment. You will learn from experts in various fields, build a network, and work on your own projects, where you can contribute your ideas. You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive many training courses and development opportunities, and network with the trainee community. You will start in our newly formed Business & Wholesale Solutions front office team (BWS FO) with focus on selling both simple and tailor-made gas and power commodity solutions for industrial customers in Germany for the first six months of your program and then rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across the organization – you design your individual placement plan and receive support from your own mentor. Your responsibilities
During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive many training courses and development opportunities, and network with the trainee community You will start in Risk Management for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across the organization – you design your individual placement plan and receive support from your own mentor In your predefined home unit Risk Management, you will support the analysis of commodity market risks across Uniper’s Green Power and Asset portfolios and contribute to the assessment of exposures, market, diversification and concentration risks You will assist with daily risk management activities and gain hands-on insight into markets, portfolios and collaboration with front office teams You will work with colleagues from Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk and Commercial Teams to understand the risk implications of strategies and transactions from a holistic perspective and support the preparation and communication of risk-related analyses to internal stakeholders You will contribute to explanation, reporting of risk, data analysis and process improvements while building a strong understanding of front-to-end processes and the commercial setup of the businessYour profile
Successfully completed studies with a focus on Risk Management, Mathematics or a related quantitative field First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, with exposure to the financial and energy market, in banks, investment funds, energy trading firms, including intercultural experiences Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, taking the initiative and proactivity while working in multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills and the ambition and skills to network among different stakeholders Analytical skills and capability to explain market dynamics to commercial and risk management stakeholders First experience with data analysis, portfolio modelling, valuation and data visualisation using Python/Excel; additional data analytics and processing tool are an advantage English language skills are required, German or other additional languages are a plusYour benefits
During your 18- or 24-month traineeship at Uniper, you will get to know various divisions and gain valuable experience for your future. In addition to some predefined stations, you can flexibly combine other departments that you would like to pass through and work in an international environment with team members from over 80 countries. In coordination with your team and the requirements of your tasks, you can choose how, when and where you want to work. Based in Germany, the program gives you a deep insight into our day-to-day business and helps you to explore your personal strengths. You will also have the opportunity to bring in and enhance your interpersonal and teamwork skills. Individual mentoring and a buddy from day one will ensure you have the best possible foundation for the next step in your career at Uniper.
