Provides administrative and medical support that requires the application of extensive guidelines and specialized knowledge for the FAP, particularly in the provision of the administration of FAP records (paper-based and automated/Family Advocacy System of Records-FASOR). Provides assistance in the management, evaluation, and reporting of child and intimate partner abuse cases. Coordinates and administrates the CRC for the Chairperson, which includes receiving and opening alleged incidents of abuse; scheduling CRC meetings; ensuring CRC members and commanders are present; preparation of the agenda; entering the demographic, summary and treatment information into the automated system (FASOR) for use by the CRC; ensuring incidents are presented within regulatory timeframes; ensuring that medical evaluations and reports are available to the CRC; entering the votes of the CRC members; finalizing and submitting results to the Central Registry (CR); recording and completing CRC minutes for the MTF and garrison/installation commander's signature; preparing notification letters to the commander, Soldier and Family member; coordinating file transfers, closure and reviews; monitoring incidents for review by the CRC. Receives reports of child or intimate partner abuse and assists reporting person or agency in providing pertinent and concise information necessary for risk assessment and timely intervention to prevent further violence.
Provides clerical/administrative and automation support for FAP and/or Social Work Services using multiple computer systems and technologies, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), FASOR, Composite Health Care System (CHCS), Allied Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and Defense Manpower Human Resource System information (DMHRSi). Operates a personal computer to input, store, retrieve and manipulate data and create graphics as well as to complete required training. Uses new technologies such as teleconferencing, videoconferencing, web conferencing and voice recognition systems to support communication efforts. Uses a variety of software programs to create database files, retrieve reports, statistical data, and rosters; prepares reports; creates or edits all forms of military correspondence; takes minutes from various meetings; uses CHCS automated system to schedule, document, record, and track clinic/patient activities. Operates typewriters, word processors, and/or computer terminals and related equipment to produce documents and reports. Creates and maintains data base information, narrative materials, and statistical reports utilizing word processing and spreadsheets software. Prepares documents in draft and final form, ensuring grammar, format, correct procedures, and correspondence requirements etc. Refers to technical guidelines, manuals, and precedents to facilitate assignments. When creating reports, uses judgment regarding form and arrangement of statistical/tabular material involving numerous headings and subheadings. Types FAP CRC minutes, agendas, incident summaries, treatment plans and incident reviews for the installation. Types notifications of abuse incident letters to commanders, referral letters to State Child Protective Service agencies and a variety of reports and correspondence pertaining to FAP for the installation. Coordinates appointments, follow-up contacts, and notifications to commander, Soldiers, Family members, community agency representatives, and post personnel regarding evaluation and intervention. Coordinates, reviews, and controls suspense actions. Manages active and inactive files and records reflecting status of all Social Work assigned suspense actions; reports and follows up on late suspense, providing courtesy reminders as needed; maintains related statistical data and prepares monthly reports. Coordinates and determines need for extension of suspense dates and, when necessary, assumes responsibility for extending suspense and notifying appropriate personnel. Controls the receipt and distribution of correspondence, reports, and related materials. Reviews and processes incoming and ongoing correspondence to include reports, memorandums, and messages. Assumes responsibility for adherence to privacy and security requirements with ensuring correspondence is administratively correct, properly placed in correct action folder, and tabbed as appropriate; and that signature requirements are clearly reflected. Establishes suspense date as required and prepares the appropriate suspense control form and records.
Maintains Records and Information Directories. Initiates and assembles records in sequential and chronological order. Reviews record prior to appointment for complete and accurate information. Oversees security of records. Maintains administrative and FAP records. Controls the filing system of open and closed Family Advocacy records. Ensures that the records contain all the forms and data required by DoD, DA and Medical Command (MEDCOM), and Joint Commission (JC). Moves records from the open and closed location, when appropriate. Maintains an automated system for locating open and closed case records. Prepares records for transfer in and out of the MTF or Clinic. Updates and maintain the Family Resource Directory. Keeps directory current by revising to incorporate changes in agency policies, duty hours, location, and eligibility requirements.
Performs receptionist/clerical support. Receives telephone calls and visitors to the service; determines the source of the call or visit; takes messages. Answers questions regarding substantive matters that may require in-depth familiarity of FAP policy as well as regarding cancellation of appointments, clinic hours, and release of information on patient's appointments. Relays messages, considering the nature of incoming patient information and the need for promptly alerting the technical staff. Keeps log of patients seen daily according to military status (i.e., active duty, dependent, retired), and type of appointment (i.e., new patient, follow-up, testing). Provides information and assistance to Service/Family members on services available. Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and distribution. Receives and reviews incoming correspondence.

Serves as a Writer-Editor for the Document Management Branch (DMB), Office of Knowledge Management, Headquarters, United States Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF). Provides editorial support, in English, in the development, preparation, and finalization of Army Europe and Africa (AEA) publications and forms. Reviews content to ensure consistency of information and clarity of expression. Edits and rewrites the content of publications to make material understandable without altering meaning. Reviews publications for correct grammar, usage, punctuation, spelling, and legibility. Updates graphics in publications, as necessary. Works with staff offices throughout the Army in Europe and Africa on the management of their publication's portfolios, and on the processing of those items through to publication. Edits forms according to the objectives of the procedures they support. Edits correspondence (letters, memorandums, notes) for the United States Army Europe and Africa Command Group. Reviews the editorial work of colleagues. Works primarily on MS Office platforms and on Adobe.
1. Write and Edit for the Command. Review manuscripts for content and propriety and revise any elements of duplication or conflict with existing or proposed publications. Extract, appraise, and assign credence to written or verbal information submitted by civilian and military personnel. Conduct background material searches, which includes assembling and reading extensive reference material; performing research; and conducting verbal and written exchanges with subject matter experts (SMEs) and proponents. Work closely with project officers and SMEs in editing AEA publications (supplements, regulations, circulars, pamphlets, posters, command policy letters, and command memorandums) and USAREUR-AF Command Group correspondence. Compare text with approved outlines, concepts, and current or revised doctrine, rewriting as necessary to amend for clarity. Consider target audience and determine the best style and manner for presentation of the material. Revise texts as needed in concert with the proponents of them to ensure legibility.
Interpret, write, or rewrite complex directives in the subjects of personnel, installation management, intelligence, operations, logistics, signal (networking, communications, information management), engineering, resource management, knowledge management, chaplain activities, medical activities, inspector general activities, judge advocate activities, provost marshal activities, safety, and staff finance and accounting activities. Ensure that all assigned publications, when completed, conform to or exceed the editorial standards and requirements specified in applicable regulations, manuals, and guides on style, writing, preparing and managing correspondence, and publishing. Write and edit on an unclassified DOD network.
2. Review Publications and Correspondence. Review the editorial work of the other members of DMB, providing revisions and recommendations for clarity and legibility. Offer in-text suggestions in accordance with AR 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence; DA Pamphlet 25-40, Army Publishing Program Procedures; the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) Style Manual; and editorial judgment and discretion.
3. Manage Publications and Correspondence. Work in concert with the proponents of AEA publications from USAREUR-AF and Installation Management Command Europe (IMCOM-E) on the management of their portfolios to ensure the currency of them. Work in concert with the front offices of the USAREUR-AF Command Group; the Office of the Chief of Staff; the Secretary of the General Staff; and the staff directorates on the management of command memorandums and Command Group correspondence. Coordinate with the Office of the Judge Advocate (USAREUR-AF) and the Staff Judge Advocate (IMCOM-E) to obtain legal reviews on publications. Serve, on a regular, rotational basis, as the lead editor for USAREUR-AF Command Group correspondence; and for the management of those items for DMB. Work with all members of DMB on the management of publications and correspondence, and on providing status updates therein to ensure depth of coverage on all portfolio items.

Counts change fund, sets up cash drawers for front end personnel, and verifies the accuracy of each drawer. Turns on the master cash control processor and sets up the office terminal(s) for the day's business. Operates and, as required, reboots the store cash register terminals. Loads money tills into self checkout registers. Runs diagnostics to ensure money disburses correctly. Makes necessary adjustments. As a cashier reports for duty, issues an individual cash drawer placing the required change in each drawer. Sells change to the cashier as required. During the operating business day, accomplishes loans for each cashier and makes appropriate changes to pickups and loans during the day to ensure completion of reports and information for the day's operation. Prepares, processes and approves customer refunds. Bags and seals cash and checks for police escort. Makes up change list and calls into bank to be picked up by police escort. Verifies change fund brought from the bank. Periodically makes pickups from all cashiers, registering each in office terminal to prevent extensive fund accumulation in cash registers and safeguards funds. Ensures deposit tickets are properly made up and deposits are verified against the account.
Receives funds from the cashiers in the form of paper currency, coins, checks, redeemable coupons, food stamps, and, occasionally, offline credit card transactions. Counts and verifies for accuracy against the computer account printout and sales listed by department and completes appropriate control document. Verifies cashier's records by checking between total of change fund and sales record. Prior to signing receipt of funds, responsible for examining individual cashier settlement sheets to ensure accuracy or to determine shortage or overage. Separates change, currency, and food stamps by denomination. Holds redeemable coupons for later processing at which time transmittal forms are filled out to he sent to appropriate DeCA control office. Verifies any nonscan checks, WIC checks, travelers' checks, and money orders from each cash register to ensure that the cash register number is annotated on the check, that the amount is the same, that numerical and written totals agree on the check. and that all checks are properly signed. Totals checks for each register, comparing total with cashier settlement sheets. Compiles a master check list. Compiles a Report of Deposit covering funds to be redeposited.
Ensures agreement between net turned in and the amount shown on the Report of Deposit. Signs appropriate forms to signify receipt of funds from each cashier. Assembles individual cashier forms, consolidated forms, and tapes to tum into the Commissary Officer. After reconciliation of funds and compilation of reports, secures all funds, locks the safe, signs the appropriate forms,and ensures the safe is locked. Makes monthly checks of store duress alarms and the overall alarm system. Responds with tact and diplomacy to customer questions and issues. Handles routine questions independently referring unusual requests or more difficult situations to the supervisor. May provide on-the-job training to other office personnel. As needed, performs the duties of sales store checker.

T-4:
Employees perform work at a medium level of difficulty and responsibility. Work is performed under general supervision. Employees are expected to make decisions and to work independently to a certain degree.
E&T Level I and IIa: 4 years of job related experience as defined below.
Current employees in the same or similar positions who do not meet E&T Level I must have additional 2 years of general experience to qualify. General Experience is simple work in an office or store that does not require knowledge in a specific field of work.
E&T Level IIB, IIIA and IV A and B: with a completed education in a directly or closely related field. The vocational training or education must be related to the specific field of work, e.g., completed apprenticeship in retail (Kaufmann/frau im Einzelhandel), completed apprenticeship in a commercial or business occupation (kaufmännischen Bereich) such as Fachverkaeufer/in im Nahrungsmittelhandwerk, Verkaeufer/im im Einzelhandel, Speditionskaufmann, Grosshandelskaufmann, etc. PLUS 1 year of job related experience as defined below.
E&T Level IV A and B: with a completed education in a directly or closely related field. - Independently or with the assistance of higher level IT Specialists, resolves hardware and software failures by modifying system operations or job processing in a manner that allows working through or around the problems with reduced capacity, and readjusting the system when full operating configuration is restored, with the objective of keeping system downtime to a minimum. Determines corrective action to be taken in case of unprecedented system failures, requesting assistance from appropriate computer specialists, or vendors when problems cannot be resolved. Position performs under general supervision of the Chief, Work Management Branch, who provides broad outlines as to objectives and results desired. Planning-Estimating. Incumbent provides inspection of sites for proposed work to determine physical conditions and obtain basic data necessary for planning and estimating major engineering or design work. Assists in tying off completed bales of cardboard and removes from baler. Separates recyclable plastic and collects in semi-transparent plastic bags or places in a holding device such as a baler. Types of plastic eligible for recycling may include case topper plastic, shrink-wrap removed from cases or pallets, and consumer plastic shopping bags.
Cleans up broken and/or spilled items. Cleans any item(s) in display cases that require cleaning prior to stocking. Cleans shelves and display areas on a regular basis. Performs all sanitation tasks in accordance with applicable directives. Ensures all merchandise, supplies, and equipment are properly accounted for and secured from spoilage, damage, and possible theft.
Follows proper safety procedures and wears appropriate safety equipment and protective clothing in the performance of duties.
Picks curbside orders. Retrieves electronic orders from a desktop computer utilizing designated software; uses a hand-held scanner and scanning software to upload orders and picks orders for the customer within established time constraints. Bags items, making changes to weight and number of items, as required. Contacts the customer, as needed, regarding substitutions or item availability. Work involves picking multiple orders simultaneously submitted by multiple customers, integrated inventory and point of sales processing. Properly identifies orders with patrons' name and places in the staging area. Upon arrival of the customer, retrieves the order from the staging area, transports to the customer's vehicle, checks and scan the customer's ID card, completes the checkout process, and loads the order into the customer's vehicle.
May, on occasion, be required to operate a cash register scanning system, which records unit prices in proper amounts and accounts. Totals purchases and collects, validates, and processes payment including cash, checks, debit and credit card transactions, electronic benefits transfer transactions, and coupons.
