The main focus at the Luxembourg location in Rodange is developing the safety-related control system for the stage machinery "Computer-Aided Theatre" [C·A·T), which uses state-of-the-art technology to control the upper stage and lower stage machinery in more than 240 venues worldwide. TASK DESCRIPTION Be part of our success story as a Service Engineer for our growing Customer Care Team and join our worldwide operating team. After an intense in-house training as well as on-site training, You will be in charge of our customer support, e.g. by telephone and e-mail, as well as monitoring remote maintenance or on-site maintenance of the venue facilities: Perform Control System and Stage Machinery maintenance on customer sites or remotely supporting maintenance tasks of our local Partners on-site. Support our customers and local partners by identifying technical incidents of our C-A-T stage control systems controlling entertainment power flying systems and stage machinery, including lifts, turntables, stage wagons and other machinery. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or engineering teams when necessary. ln addition to diagnosing and analysing specific faults and their elimination [possibly on-site], you propose improvement measures and execute them. This also includes training/instruction on proper use, maintenance and safety of Stage Machinery equipment and how to handle our C·A·T System at the customer's site. Provide hotline/after-hours support. Coordinate with internal teams [Development, Supply-Chain Management for resolution, spare parts ordering, repairs. The creation of protocols and documentation [Work records, Service Reports, Troubleshooting Tickets) as well will complete your responsibilities as a Service Engineer. OUR REQUIREMENTS You can read and understand electrical circuit diagrams. Detecting and solving problems in an electrical circuit is nothing special for you. Basic understanding of Network infrastructures or programming [such as JavaScript) would be preferable. You have at least basic I.T. skills, like using the Microsoft Office tools. You have a target orientated working method and cost awareness. You have strong communication skills and team spirit. Hands-on mentality. Ability to think logically, prioritize issues, root cause analysis. Good communication skills, professionalism in interactions with customers. Willingness for international travelling is mandatory [approx. 90 days a year abroad). Fluent in English, written and spoken Good knowledge of German and/or French, written and spoken would be a benefit Degree of Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Engineering or related technical field. Several years of hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, or related roles. Experience with Customer Care, Remote troubleshooting/hotline support is a plus. In the current operational setup, the control desk relies on a continuous wireless connection with an access point (AP). However, latency or package loss have been observed affecting performance and reliability. This project seeks to analyse and solve these issues in a structured and technically sound manner. Identify , analyse, and resolve recurring wireless connection and transmission issues between the control desk and the designated access point (AP). The project will also provide preventive measures and guidelines to ensure stable wireless connectivity. SCOPE OF WORK Phase 1: System Understanding and Environment Mapping Document network architecture (topology, IP schema, connected devices). Assess control desk hardware and software (OS, drivers, hardware, protocols). Identify AP specifications (brand, model, firmware, and settings). Analyse the physical layout and sources of interference (walls, machinery, etc.). Identify the Wi-Fi standard and frequency band used (e.g., 802.11ac, 2.4GHz vs 5GHz). The main focus at the Luxembourg location in Rodange is developing the safety-related control system for the stage machinery "Computer-Aided Theatre" [C·A·T), which uses state-of-the-art technology to control the upper stage and lower stage machinery in more than 240 venues worldwide. TASK DESCRIPTION Be part of our success story as a Service Engineer for our growing Customer Care Team and join our worldwide operating team. After an intense in-house training as well as on-site training, You will be in charge of our customer support, e.g. by telephone and e-mail, as well as monitoring remote maintenance or on-site maintenance of the venue facilities: Perform Control System and Stage Machinery maintenance on customer sites or remotely supporting maintenance tasks of our local Partners on-site. Support our customers and local partners by identifying technical incidents of our C-A-T stage control systems controlling entertainment power flying systems and stage machinery, including lifts, turntables, stage wagons and other machinery. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or engineering teams when necessary. ln addition to diagnosing and analysing specific faults and their elimination [possibly on-site], you propose improvement measures and execute them. This also includes training/instruction on proper use, maintenance and safety of Stage Machinery equipment and how to handle our C·A·T System at the customer's site. Provide hotline/after-hours support. Coordinate with internal teams [Development, Supply-Chain Management for resolution, spare parts ordering, repairs. The creation of protocols and documentation [Work records, Service Reports, Troubleshooting Tickets) as well will complete your responsibilities as a Service Engineer. OUR REQUIREMENTS You can read and understand electrical circuit diagrams. Detecting and solving problems in an electrical circuit is nothing special for you. Basic understanding of Network infrastructures or programming [such as JavaScript) would be preferable. You have at least basic I.T. skills, like using the Microsoft Office tools. You have a target orientated working method and cost awareness. You have strong communication skills and team spirit. Hands-on mentality. Ability to think logically, prioritize issues, root cause analysis. Good communication skills, professionalism in interactions with customers. Willingness for international travelling is mandatory [approx. 90 days a year abroad). Fluent in English, written and spoken Good knowledge of German and/or French, written and spoken would be a benefit Degree of Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Engineering or related technical field. Several years of hands-on experience in maintenance, field service, or related roles. Experience with Customer Care, Remote troubleshooting/hotline support is a plus. Possibility to work late in the evening or on weekends (on-call).
